The classic Trapper has been a widespread form of knife since the beginning of the 20th century as a versatile pocket knife and owes its name to the American rangers who roamed North America as hunters and trappers. They were among the most important explorers and pioneers of the European settlement on the continent and were often the first to make contact with the Indians and Eskimos. Also at the turn of the century, Hugo Asbach in Rüdesheim on the Rhine invented the German brandy that is still on everyone's lips today as Asbach Uralt. Particularly important for the characteristic taste of this noble brandy is the complex maturing process, which takes place in small oak barrels made of Limousin oak wood that has been matured for several years. Its wood is particularly large-pored and permeable to air, so that the fine brandy can breathe and mature in exchange with the air in this way. The noble handle scales of the B0ker Trapper Asbach Uralt are made from the unique oak wood of time-honored Asbach barrels, which are now allowed to take on a new role after decades of storage. And just like the small barrels, the handle scales of the Slipjoint pocket knife also bear the brand stamp of the famous wine distillery. The noble collector's version is equipped with a blade made of stainless damascus by Chad Nichols, forged by hand in the ripple pattern. It opens by nail nick and does not lock. The distinctive bolsters are nickel silver and contrast nicely with the historical wood of the scales. The slim design makes the Trapper the perfect everyday companion. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen and strictly limited to 299 pieces worldwide. With high-quality felt case for storage, certificate of authenticity and individual serial number.
